BLOG POST REVIEW

I surprisingly enjoyed posting blogs. Ok, its not surprising, I knew I would love it, I get to talk about me and what I do throughout my day. awesome! However, I was surprised to find out how blogging affected my life. Not only did it force me to get creative throughout my day by coming up with projects for myself. Blogging allowed me to take a look at myself. I do self reflect, but it is different reflecting about oneself and then typing about it. It changes how you talk about yourself, how you feel about yourself, and how you act, it keeps you in check. You want to be interesting for your bloggers and talk about something that is meaning full, and not just say "oh, I made sandwich." No one cares about your sandwich, people care about what you care about if they are reading your blog. So talk about you, but that gets one thinking about what they truly care about. What do I want to accomplish? I sat with that question for a couple of days. Who am I and how do I express myself. If you look at my blog, not ever post is an essay or introspective post in which I discuss the reasons why I do what I do, some are just quotes. However those quotes are very important in my life and build a picture of who I am as a person. Everything I post on this blog page was a post that was meaningful to me. The post might have been small or poorly worded or anything in between, but it was from the heart. Much of what I wrote on this blog was very personal to me, yet a blog is supposed to be personal so I went for it. When I got denied for the ad school, it was rough, but I didn't cry about it or wallow in self pity. No, I got in my car and decided to get create. I wrote an essay about my very private journey to piece and posted it on this blog. This blog not only help me better understand myself, it helped me get through very tough times in my life from breaking up with my girlfriend to getting denied from the ad school. This blog may be no longer required after tonight, however I think I might still post on here, not as frequently but it is nice to get your thoughts out on paper.
