Finding How To Get How To Get A Wieden+Kennedy Internship: Post #4

For my advertising agency project my group presented about Wieden+Kennedy. An agency perfectly matched by the city it's headquarters is in, Portland, Oregon. Portland's slogan is "Keep Portland Weird" and Wieden+Kennedy fit right into Portland's "vibe." Wieden+Kennedy is a very odd company, and their internship process is even weirder. Most companies would have a direct link to their internship program, however Wieden+Kennedy has nothing of the sort. From the information I gathered the only way to get an internship at Wieden+Kennedy was to either be noticed by them or have someone that has a connection to the agency in which they could recommend you for an internship. Well, I wasn't satisfied with the information I had found on Google, so I decided to email Wieden+Kennedy's Portland office to find more information on their internship process. I reload and refreshed my email almost every hour hoping to get email from their head office to see if I could add more information to my presentation, no response other than an automated response that read: 

Hey there, we got your email. 

Thanks so much for your interest! 

We will be in touch if there is a role that's a match for you.

Fantastic, an auto email, that helps me in no way. More waiting. Until about 10 minutes ago, I got a wonderful response from W+K: 

Hey, Hello!

Thank you for your interest in Wieden+Kennedy.

We are currently accepting applications for our residency program.

I clicked the link embed in the words of "residency program," I will let you click the link for yourself. However I do have to say  that is one of the most creative websites I have ever seen, especially for internship program form. The link takes you to a deep void that kinda makes you found a buried treasure, that you were special for finding this link that lead you to the treasure, a possible Wieden+Kennedy internship. 

Oh, I really want to intern for Wieden+Kennedy, 2021 Wieden+Kennedy intern here we come!
